Today we were out and about on day 3 of our fantastic Kids adventure week. This time focusing more on camouflage with some great games and more advanced skills including handy knots.
Today we were out enjoying the countryside on Day 2 of our Kids Adventure week. This was great fun and the Kids all learned about Natural direction indicators, Finding water, along with shelter building and much more on this first Survival day.
Today we had one of our brilliant Commando survival experiences. The kids learned all about natural direction indicators, finding water, foraging for food, shelter and much more. These are a fantastic way for kids to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
Next week we have a brilliant 5 day programme for Kids. We will be on many adventures from Canoeing to Orienteering along with Bush craft and Survival all the while having lots of fun in the outdoors. This starts on Monday 4th August and runs till Friday 8th August and is from 09:00 till 15:00.This is filling up fast but we still have a few places left so book now by contacting EDLC on 0141 578 8437 and ask about the Kids Adventure Week.
During this summer we have some fantastic wild camps available. On these camps you will learn how to Navigate using natural indicators, Find and filtrate water, Fire from friction and spark. You can also choose to build and sleep in your survival shelter after cooking a warm meal over an open fire. These fantastic experiences are also available with Canoeing so we may even be able to have a night paddle looking for wildlife.
