One of our Outdoor Leaders was fortunate to be selected to join five other participants from across the tourism industry and based in Scotland. Cliff’s focus was on the ancient traditions and heritage and the experiences which had less structure and almost perceived as informal. He will do his best to try and emulate such experience here in Scotland which will involve local personalities
and aim to engage and interest others in Scottish heritage.
Canoe guide skills, leadership, decision making team work and deer tracking along with learning about the Island of Inchcailloch a bit more. Job done Outdoor Leader skills a little better.
Hilary and Tam took a recce trip along the Middle Kelvin from Kirkintilloch to Torrance. It was Tam’s first venture down the Luggie (lesser water). We saw a goosander, heron, buzzard, greater spotted woodpecker (and heard), grey wagtail and merganser! Come on one of these trips and see the wildlife for yourself.
