We had a great punch out today on a very social canoe safari in autumnal weather, we spotted a wide range of wildlife and learn some new things about local heritage too. At one point a Heron was just meters from some guests. Lots of time exploring the out the way places along the canal and fascinating facts about the environment .

Fauna: Swan, Mallard, Jackdaw, Crow, Heron
Flora: Nettles, Mountain soft rush, Sycamore, Alder, Oak, Honeysuckle, Silver Birch, Marsh Willow, Crack willow
Wow what a classic adventure not just canoeing but learning all sorts about the landscape heritage and bush craft too , we spotted some lovely ravens and also a group of swans and as we paddled out two ospreys dived and played over.
The kids did really well and the adults were not far behind them
