Today we were out enjoying the countryside on Day 2 of our Kids Adventure week. This was great fun and the Kids all learned about Natural direction indicators, Finding water, along with shelter building and much more on this first Survival day.
Today we had a great bunch of kids on the first day of the Kids Adventure week. We went Canoeing on the Fourth and Clyde canal. Learning some good skills and spotting wildlife. We even helped to save a hedgehog from the water.
Yesterday we were on the fourth and Clyde Canal with some fantastic Kids and families. We Had a great paddle along the Canal with everyone showing good skills. During the day we looked at the different Flora and Fauna along the canal. Some of the guys even managed to get within a few metres of a beautiful Heron by paddling quietly towards it.
Today we had one of our brilliant Commando survival experiences. The kids learned all about natural direction indicators, finding water, foraging for food, shelter and much more. These are a fantastic way for kids to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
Yesterday we were out in Kirkintilloch on one af our fantastic experiences. This was Commando Survival for kids. We learned about Food for free, Camouflage, Shelter and direction indicatoers. We also had some fun playing camouflage games.
