You’ll explore out of the way beaches, wildlife watch and learn all about Scots and local heritage through Archie’s fascinating facts and story telling. It looks to be great fun and social too .. interesting in joining this trip there are spaces still left .. get in touch .

38 guests of The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel, took part in our organised guided treks around Luss village, Loch Lomond, this New Year’s Day.

They had had a wonderful meal and had a thirlling time at the ceilidh on Hogmanay and chose to follow their experience up with a refreshing walk around the village with Hidden Adventure’s guide, Archie.

With tales of Jacobite fervour, cattle stealing, battles and viking raids, he brought the area’s history alive. The excursion included a shore walk, a visit to the pier – to take in a beautiful view of Ben Lomond – and a tour round by the iconic Luss Church before heading back to the Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel via General Wade’s military road.

All enjoyed the freshness of a clear winter’s day, with any cobwebs from the earlier festivities being blown away by the brisk North Easterly winds.
