Mountain Days

Chillin' in great scenery

Chillin’ in great scenery

A day exploring central Scotland’s scenic mountains can be an enjoyable, memorable experience. On our Mountain days we endeavour to interest you in the upland landscape, flora and fauna and whilst moving across undulating terrain, you will also learn some mountain craft skills, such as mountain safety, equipment, navigation and team work.

These experiences will make you more confident with your mountain skills and be comfortable moving around our beautiful hills, mountains and upland areas. We can tailor these days to suit your needs or to meet specific outcomes associated with formed groups by creating a relevant programme ,which could allow future access to this sport ,whilst improve health and confidence too. On some classic highland peaks, you may see a soaring eagle or a herd of wild Scottish red deer; we will choose the best upland or mountain area, to meet your needs and to make the most of the weather.

compassWhy not visit The Campsie plateau which is famed for its unique city and expansive mountain views, where regular encounters with raptors and upland ravens are frequent or to meet the challenge of starting slightly early, in order to gain a classic Highland Munro, such as Ben Lomond or scale the distinct ridges and peaks of The Cobbler.

Whatever your needs, we will endeavor to provide a top day and we have a range of mountain trek equipment for your use too, including boots, rucksacks and waterproofs.
